This policy explains how Sketch4Home by Vincerf ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit sketch4home.vincerf.com or buy one of our guides. Contact: contact@vincerf.com.
The short version
- You can browse this website without giving us any personal information.
- We don't store your card or payment details. Payments are handled by Gumroad.
- When you buy, Gumroad shares your name, email address, country and order details with us so we can support your purchase.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Information we collect
1. When you visit the website.
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the date and time. These are used to keep the site secure and working.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google.
This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools (for example the Pinterest Tag or Google Analytics), we'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
2. When you buy a guide.
Checkout is provided by Gumroad, which acts as the seller of record and processes your payment. Gumroad collects the information needed to complete your purchase under its own privacy policy: https://gumroad.com/privacy. Gumroad shares with us your name, email address, country, the product bought and the price paid. We never receive your full card details.
3. When you email us.
We receive your email address and anything you include in your message, and use it only to reply and help you.
How we use your information
- To deliver your guide and help with downloads or problems with your order.
- To answer your questions.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting.
- To keep the website secure.
We won't send you marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Legal bases (UK and EU visitors)
We process personal information to perform our contract with you (your purchase), to meet legal obligations (tax records), with your consent (marketing emails, optional cookies), and for our legitimate interests in running a secure, working website.
Sharing
We share information only with the services that help us run Sketch4Home: Gumroad (checkout and delivery), Hostinger (website hosting), Google (fonts) and our email provider. We may also share it if the law requires us to. We do not sell or rent personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, they use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under UK or EU GDPR, Canadian privacy law, or US state laws such as California's), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. Email contact@vincerf.com to make a request. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our guides are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
