Terms of use

Last updated: 31 October 2026

These terms apply to the website sketch4home.vincerf.com and to the digital guides sold by Sketch4Home by Vincerf ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a guide, you agree to them.

1. Our guides

Sketch4Home guides are digital PDF files. Purchases are completed through Gumroad, which processes payment and delivers your download. Gumroad's own terms also apply to the checkout.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live. Launch or sale prices are valid until the date shown on the page.

3. Your license: personal use only

When you buy a guide, you get a personal, non-transferable license for one person to download, read and print it for your own home projects.

You may:

  • read the guide on your own devices and print copies for your own use;
  • show or share individual sketches with the builder, designer, installer or other professional working on your own home.

You may not:

  • share, forward, upload or distribute the PDF (or large parts of it) to anyone else, including in groups, forums or file-sharing sites;
  • resell, rent, sublicense or give away the guide;
  • use the guide, its text or its illustrations in your own products, courses, websites, social media posts or client work;
  • remove copyright notices, or use the content to train AI or machine-learning systems.

One purchase = one personal license. If someone else would like a copy, please send them to our website.

4. Copyright

All text, illustrations, sketches and designs in our guides and on this website are original works owned by Sketch4Home by Vincerf and are protected by copyright. "Sketch4Home" and its logo are our brand. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. General guidance only

Our guides give general design guidance, not professional advice. Building codes and regulations vary by country, state, province and local authority, and change over time. Measurements and code figures were checked against published guidance in 2026 and are given for orientation only. Always confirm requirements with your local building department or Building Control, and use licensed professionals (such as an electrician, plumber, contractor or architect) for regulated work.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage or cost arising from decisions made or work carried out on the basis of our guides or this website. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the price you paid for the guide. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Refunds

See our Refund policy.

8. The website

We try to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". We may update content, prices and these terms at any time. Changes apply from the date they're posted.
